Our client, HOYTS, needed to reduce costs associated with energy usage and maintenance call-outs
They also needed centralised energy data collation from various sources to a single point for all cinema complexes across Australia and New Zealand

Ideally, HOYTS wanted to be able to use our technology to also improve the comfort of their cinemas and reduce customer complaints

Developed a bespoke technology roadmap
Integrated multiple building systems from 49 cinemas across 2 countries onto the Avani platform
Connected the Avani platform to the HOYTS ticketing system to automate environmental conditions based on customer demand
Implemented analytical rules with self-correcting actions for predictive maintenance to automate maintenance tasks

We’ve helped HOYTS cut carbon emissions by approx. 2,900 t.CO₂/yr.
Saved an average of 11% on total portfolio-wide energy consumption and associated energy costs
